As I came into the office this morning I saw Gary Habermas and we spoke for twenty or so minutes about his recent debate in New Orleans against Michael Shermer, Vic Stenger, and another atheist (which will be available down the road by Fortress Press.) Dr. Habermas then came and briefly spoke in the class I assist with and promoted the philosophy department, the philosophy and apologetics clubs, etc., and mentioned a few resources on his website. There are a few free books, chapters from books, and his dissertation, which are available in electronic form. These resources include:
- The Resurrection of Jesus: A Rational Inquiry (Dissertation)
- Dealing With Doubt
- The Thomas Factor:Using Your Doubts to Draw Closer to God
- To Everyone an Answer: Ch. 11 “The Case for Christ’s Resurrection”
- Why Believe? God Exists! Rethinking the Case for God and Christianity: Chs. 20, 29 “Atheism & Evil: A Fatal Dilemma” and “Our Personal God: God Interacts With Us”
- Forever Loved: A Personal Account of Grief and Resurrection: Chs. 9-10 “Job and Me” and “God Will Supply…”
- The Historical Jesus: Ancient Evidence for the Life of Christ: Chs. 4, 9 “Reinterpretation of the Historical Jesus” and “Ancient Non-Christian Sources”
Please take advantage of these resources and share them.
